To best serve your child, we consider their age, developmental milestones, and school readiness. Pre-Primary School and Kindergarten applicants must meet our age requirements with limited exceptions.

- Create a Profile in Ravenna
- Lowell uses Ravenna to manage the application process from inquiry through decision.
- Begin the admission process by creating a profile in Ravenna and choosing “Lowell School” as the school you are exploring. The steps of our admissions process are clearly defined in Ravenna; they differ by grade level but may include:
- Submitting an Application Form
- Completing a Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Requesting student records/transcripts and teacher recommendations from your child’s current school
- Submitting a Student Essay (3rd–8th-grade applicants)Scheduling a Student Visit or Playdate for your child

Please Remember
- Students must be at least 2.5 years old by September 1, 2027, to enter Pre-Primary School.
- Our Pre-Primary classrooms meet the needs of students aged 2.5 to 5 years old.
- Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2027
Our application deadline for the 26-27 school year was January 5, 2026. We continue to accept applications as space allows, with priority given to families who applied by the deadline.
