After Care

When the school day is over, children may participate in Lowell’s After Care program through 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including Wednesdays.

You can find the enrollment forms in your parent account on the Lowell website, and you can sign up for After Care at any point during the year.

Families may also choose to use After Care on a drop-in basis by registering via the drop-in link no later than noon on the day of requested care.

After Care Programs

List of 3 items.

  • Pre-Primary + Primary School After Care

After Care provides a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children, where they can play, make choices, and hone social skills under the guidance of caring adults. Participants engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor games and activities. We ask that parents send an additional snack in the afternoon for After Care. Children who have homework are provided with a supervised quiet room to complete their assignments. There is a quiet time for K–1 students, 30 minutes of reading for students in 2nd–5th grades, and homework help from an After Care staff person.
  • Middle School After Care

The After Care program for Middle School students is a homework club where students can complete homework in a quiet environment with peer assistance or adult help, as needed.
