Students enjoy an interdisciplinary approach to the topics of Climate and Culture in 6th grade; Rights, Responsibilities, and Power in 7th grade; and Leadership, Advocacy, and Efficacy in 8th grade. Collaborative project-based lessons develop lifelong advocates with real-world understanding.
Part of students’ daily schedule, the Delta program fosters academic, social, and emotional growth, strengthens community, and teaches everyday leadership skills. Coaches create a safe environment for students to become self-advocates and active participants in their education.
Local, regional, and international field trips are carefully designed to complement the curriculum. Students gain not only valuable information and skills, but also confidence and independence as they navigate new settings and see the world from different perspectives.
