Sustainability Committee Stream Cleanup and Gardening Day

It’s a perfect afternoon activity for getting muddy and removing invasive species from the stream so that it can be healthy and continue to be used as an outdoor learning environment for our kids. Families will also be working in the Lowell garden, planting spring plants and crops, removing uninvited interlopers, and working on the raised beds. Activities will be appropriate for families of all ages, and no experience is necessary.

For safety reasons, sign-up is required to participate. Parents and students will need to sign up, as space is limited (students will be required to have a parent present). Students will need to complete the SchoolPass app on the day of the event, and parents/guardians will need to fill out the Wellness Screening.

The rain date for this event will be May 7, from 3:30–5:00 pm. Email Consuelo Campuzano of the Sustainability Committee with any questions.
