Springtime Observations in Pre-Primary School

Students in the Explorers Room eagerly name the bird to match a sound Pre-Primary Teacher Lisa Powell reveals with the press of a button. “Mourning dove!” students call out. “Wren…robin,” others exclaim with each new sound Lisa selects. Now that spring has sprung, Explorers Room children are learning about the different types of birds they see flying around campus. They are finding out what time these birds are active, what the birds eat, and where they find their food.
