Snowflake Science in Pre-Primary

Today in the Wonder Lab, Discovery Room children learned about the special conditions needed for rain to turn into snow. They observed that snowflakes form unique shapes and have a light and airy structure, which allows them to float to the ground. Students then made their own snowflakes working with model magic, pipe cleaners, and glitter. Teachers tie lessons into what children are noticing in their current environment to help build their curiosity and wonder.
