7th Grade "Improve a Space" STEM Project
Seventh graders are finishing up their "Improve a Space" projects to exhibit for 6th graders on Thursday, December 13. The project asked students to choose a room at home or school that they wanted to improve. Each student created a scale drawing and generated either a digital or physical 3D scale model of their modified space. Each project will be displayed with a proposal which shows how the improvements can be accomplished within a given budget.
The STEAM team cordially invites parents to this “soft opening" from 2:15–2:45 pm in Parkside's 3rd floor art studios. Parent participation is not required, but welcomed to celebrate voice, choice, and ingenuity of these students.
Other formal opportunities to see these exhibitions include STEMFest on March 9 and a STEAM-influenced theatrical production in late May early June.
