Pre-Primary in the Holiday Spirit

Lowell parents, Joshua and Diana Blumenfeld, visited the Discovery Room this week to talk about how their family celebrates Hanukkah. They displayed and lit the menorah, explained the significance of the eight candles, and gave each child a dreidel. Children paid close attention as the Blumenfelds read Happy Hanukkah, Curious George and as the family taught them how to count to eight in Hebrew following a reading of Hanukkah: A Counting Book by Emily Sper.
