4th Grade MLK Assembly

Parkside Building - Black Box Theater - BBT
To honor King's 90th birthday, this year's oration focuses on Dr. King's 1967 speech, Where Do We Go From Here? Fourth Grade parents and siblings as well as 3rd and 5th grades are cordially invited to attend this exciting event.
Culminating 4th Grade’s drama project, ORATORS AS CHANGE AGENTS, students learn to dramatically orate a speech honoring the life and work of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's speech integrates with 4th grade student-selected book studies on identity and perspectives, such as A Long Pitch Home, George, Jupiter Storm, Out of My Mind, Shadow of A Bull, and Wonder.
