Summer Camp Counselor

Lowell School in Washington, DC is seeking summer camp counselors for our summer camp program, serving students ages 30 months to 13 years, with flexible week-long commitments between June 17, 2024, through August 2, 2024. We seek dynamic leaders with the skills to engage in various activities alongside our campers.


Session1: June 17 - July 5

Session2: July 8 - July 26

Last Call Session: July 29 - August 2

(Please note, there will not be camp on Juneteenth or Fourth of July)

We offer several programs for our students, primarily based on age and personal interest. Visit the summer camp website to browse this year's offerings.


Qualifications:

Demonstrate excellent character, integrity, and adaptability.

Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control

Completed one year of college, at least 18 years of age, or successful employment

You have 1+ years of experience working with children.

Ability to teach and lead various STEAM and recreational activities

Lowell School requires all employees to be fully vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated includes boosters. Proof of COVID vaccinations will be needed during the onboarding process.
