Lowell School seeks a dedicated and engaging Pop Band Instructor to teach students in grades 4–8 starting in September. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to music education, experience in ensemble direction, and the ability to create a supportive and collaborative learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of music teaching experience
Positive and friendly attitude
Passion for working with children; ability to motivate and support children in reaching high levels of academic success
Belief in the value of enrichment education for all children
Major Responsibilities:
Selecting an age-appropriate repertoire
Leading regular rehearsals
Preparing students for performances
Create dynamic lesson experiences that challenge and inspire students.
Teach a group of children to work together to have a positive learning experience in a band setting.
Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students
Maintain complete and accurate records for attendance
Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents.

The Expected Salary Range: $ 60-$ 80/hour.
