Lowell is currently seeking applicants for the position of Early Elementary Collaborating Lead Teacher (co-teacher). Ideal candidates will hold a degree in early childhood or elementary education, possess knowledge of the social, emotional, and academic needs of lower elementary children, and be well versed in best practice for delivering language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies instruction.
We are currently hiring substitute teachers for the 2016-17 school year. Ideal candidates will have the following: at least 60 credit hours towards a bachelor's degree, experience with elementary school aged children, a flexible schedule, a collaborative spirit, and a sensitivity to a diverse (in all ways) community of learners.
“I would say that the thing I love most about Lowell is the feeling of community. This is an environment where adults are just as willing to learn as to teach others. Everybody has a commitment to communal and lifelong learning, which fosters the same values in the students.”
