The Assistant Director of Development, Special Events, and Alumni Relations reports to the Director of Development. This position supports all areas of the Development Office, as instructed by the Director of Development, with a special emphasis on Lowell’s annual Auction for Financial Assistance, Grandguest Day, Alum Family Party, and class-specific reunion, as well as ongoing outreach to alumni and other cultivation and stewardship efforts for all constituencies. This is a full-time, year-round position, which is annually contracted from July 1-June 30.
We are currently hiring substitute teachers for the 2016-17 school year. Ideal candidates will have the following: at least 60 credit hours towards a bachelor's degree, experience with elementary school aged children, a flexible schedule, a collaborative spirit, and a sensitivity to a diverse (in all ways) community of learners.
“I would say that the thing I love most about Lowell is the feeling of community. This is an environment where adults are just as willing to learn as to teach others. Everybody has a commitment to communal and lifelong learning, which fosters the same values in the students.”
