Intermediate instruction is also provided for students with prior experience. Campers will leave for the stable mid-morning and return in time for our afternoon gatherings. Campers will be at Lowell for regular drop-off and pick-up each day.
  • Legends of Lowell: The Ultimate Dungeons & Dragons Experience with Ironthew Industries

    Eligible: Rising 5th – 11th Grades
    Available: Sessions 1 and 2

Legends of Lowell is a three-week-per-session summer program that uses Dungeons & Dragons as a vehicle for literacy, leadership, STEAM, and social-emotional growth for upper elementary and middle school campers. Mornings are devoted to rich, story-driven tabletop gameplay; afternoons are split into two structured pathways—Ironthew Industries Certified Dungeon Masters (GM/leadership track) and Ironthew Industries Certified Artisans (STEAM/creative maker track).

Each three-week session culminates in a full-camp “Tim’s Tubular TPK” boss event (often featuring a large Tarrasque model or another named monster) and a parent showcase, which includes short gameplay demos run by youth GMs using set pieces created by the Artisans. The goal is to create a flagship Lowell program that feels fun and “campy,” while quietly delivering high-level outcomes in collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and leadership.
  • Summer Stage

With the help of seasoned counselors, all personalities and talents will have an opportunity to shine in a dramatic revue that will leave the audience in awe.

    Session Two

Campers will have an opportunity to star on the big stage in LOWELL’s very own BLACKBOX theatre! For this three-week session, campers will have the chance to design costumes, learn lines, and perform in our upcoming show, to be announced in March. Last year’s show was Alice in Wonderland Jr.!
