Signs of Spring in Pre-Primary

Pre-Primary Teacher Nuria Rodriguez took advantage of the spring-like weather this week and led students on a nature walk. The group circled the front field pointing out things they saw, like the pink and purple trees in bloom around campus. They also stopped to hear the calls of nearby birds and sounds of Kalmia Creek trickling over the landscape. In each new area of the field Nuria asked, “What other signs of spring do you see?” “Birds,” “the slides,” and “picnic tables, so you can have a picnic,” the children answered.
