Kindergarten group tours are held on various dates throughout the year.
The Kindergarten tour gives parents an opportunity to hear about Lowell's program and philosophy and is designed for adults only. Select the date that works best for your schedule by clicking on the button below.
Please complete and submit the application and $65 application fee. Click on the Apply Now button below to get started. Make sure to create your account using an email address you will have access to throughout the admission season as this will be your primary email contact with our school.
Lowell School uses Ravenna—a new comprehensive online admission system. Your child’s teacher will be able to submit the recommendation through this system. Please log into www.Ravenna-Hub.com to request a recommendation.
For students not yet enrolled in a school or childcare program, a recommendation may be provided by a nanny, family friend, or activity instructor who knows your child well. Recommendations are kept confidential.
Kindergarten applicants are required to submit results from admissions testing. Kindergarten applicants who are 5-years-old and younger take the WPPSI-IV (Wechsler Preschool Primary Scale of Intelligence Test, Fourth Edition). Children 6-years-old and older take the WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition). Test results must be sent directly to Lowell from the testing site. (Lowell does not administer admissions testing.) Click here for a list of testing sites.
Prospective students will visit on a weekday morning in a small group for 1.5 hours. Our time with the children is informal, and students should dress to play. Visits will include story time and cooperative play. While the children are visiting, parents will spend time on campus. Tours can be requested.
The parent interview is an opportunity for you to ask questions about Lowell, to further inform us about your child, and for us to get to know you. Meetings can be scheduled as soon as we receive your child's application.
