The Annual Fund is Lowell’s Highest Fundraising Priority

Generous gifts from the entire Lowell community—current and past parents, friends, grandparents, faculty, staff, and alumni—make the margin of difference between good and great.

Lowell’s Family of Funds

The Family of Funds represents the most fundamental elements of the Lowell program. We hope you will consider a gift to the Annual Fund and make an impact on a favorite program or a particular interest, knowing that all of the choices are deeply valued.

Area of Greatest Need
Enables the School to be nimble and responsive and explore new initiatives.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Initiatives
Delivering on our mission includes targeted professional development, parent education, anti-bias curriucula, books, and experiences to support student learning and strengthen the bonds of our intentionally diverse community.

Financial Assistance
Is essential for ensuring equity and economic diversity at Lowell. One in every three students at Lowell receives financial assistance.

Faculty and Staff Salaries
Competitive salaries and benefits for the skilled and dedicated teachers required to deliver Lowell’s unique program are the School’s largest expense every year.

Professional Development
Provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement, which enables faculty and staff to model lifelong learning and bring new ideas back to classrooms.

Program
Field trips, STEM, art, music, athletics, and materials—from pencils to laptops.

Please note that in the event that designated contributions that exceed any particular area budgeted limit, additional funds will be directed to the area of greatest need.

High Participation

At Lowell every gift is valued. High rates of participation say a lot about the commitment of the Lowell community to the work the school does with children. More than 90% of our current parents have consistently participated in annual giving year after year.
