Students will get an early feel for their end of the year trip to Costa Rica. Eighth graders will be challenged to step out of their comfort zones and “follow their food from farm to plate.” This experience will include a lot physical labor, as 8th graders will tend to all the needs of a fully functioning farm—working with animals, turning over fields, harvesting crops, repairing or preparing materials, etc.
