What’s Up With My Middle Schooler? Parents and Counselors in Conversation

Join Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Phyllis L. Fagell, best-selling author of Middle School Matters: The 10 Key Skills Kids Need to Thrive in Middle School and Beyond—and How Parents Can Help, in conversation with Teryn Gilmore, Lowell’s Middle School Counselor.
Lowell’s campus closed to students and their families on March 13, 2020, in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As we approach the one-year mark of this dramatic pivot, we want to reflect on the ups and downs that we have all experienced as adults and children.

They will discuss the range of issues they have seen in their professional roles and what parents can do to navigate these ever-changing waters. After their insightful dialogue, Phyllis and Teryn will open up the discussion to audience questions. Although the focus will be Middle School children, parents/guardians with children of any age are welcome.
