Lifeguards and Swim Instructors

Lowell School, a progressive independent school in Washington, DC, is seeking certified lifeguards and swim instructors.
Shifts require day, evening, and/or weekend availability.
- Weekday and Afternoon Hours
Qualifications:
- Previous swim instruction experience is required
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred
- Current Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR-AED certifications are required
- Demonstrated experience working with children
- Excellent character, integrity, and adaptability
- Ability to communicate and work with a variety of ages and skill levels
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Lowell School requires all employees to be fully vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated includes boosters. Proof of COVID vaccinations will be needed during the onboarding process.
