Lowell School’s 37th Annual Auction for Financial Assistance: A Stellar Night

Lowell's Annual Auction is a lively party that brings current parents, faculty and staff, and alumni families and friends of the school together for a special evening to celebrate and support Lowell students and our Financial Aid program.

Join us on Saturday, April 27 for a fun evening at Lowell to celebrate our commitment to diversity at every level, including socioeconomic, and raise money to continue to meet those efforts. We can only do it with your support, so let’s make this a record-breaking year!

  • Attend

    The Auction is a great occasion to support our Financial Aid program as well as an opportunity for fellowship with members of the Lowell community. Tickets available soon.
  • Donate

    Our Auction Committee is hard at work reaching out to local businesses about donating to the auction. We encourage and welcome donations from the Lowell community. The sky’s the limit to the types of donations we can garner when we all tap into our personal and professional relationships for donation goods, services, unique experiences, gift cards, getaways, tickets, and more to the auction.   • Advertise

    Advertise in our auction catalog! Whether you are looking to promote your business we've got you covered with a number of advertising options here.
  • Volunteer

    Volunteer your time. The auction is a parent-run event and volunteers are KEY to making the auction a success. You can donate a little time, or a lot, depending on your interests and schedule. Involvement at all levels is needed! Contact the auction co-chairs Barbara Ehimika and Erica Johnson.

    There are other ways to support the auction.

    You can attend our auction basket parties that assemble enticing baskets to be bid on at the auction. These parties will be held in preparation for the auction.

    Time: 6:00–10:00 pm
    RSVP: Sign up space is limited

    This party has a dual purpose of socializing AND collecting items for this year’s Auction for Financial Aid "A Stellar Night." Please bring a six-pack of your favorite beer for the very popular auction beer basket. Marcie and Mike’s three boys (+ super-sweet dog!) will entertain children so grown-ups can socialize. RSVP is a must!

    Help underwrite the cost of the auction by becoming a sponsor, while gaining free publicity for your company. We have several ways you can sponsor the event.   • Nuts and Bolts

    Put on your cocktail attire and enjoy Lowell’s 2019 Annual Auction "A Stellar Night" with us! This adults-only event on April 27, 2019, will be held in the Parkside Building and begins at 6:00 pm. The evening begins with a silent auction, cocktails, and hors d’ouevres in the Berkeley Library. The live auction will be followed by dancing and a DJ ending the evening around 11:00 pm. Book your babysitters now!

    Through your attendance and participation, Lowell will raise funds that go directly to the Financial Aid program supporting 32% of the Lowell student body.
  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, you may park in the school’s parking lot and along the entrance driveway (subject to availability). However, we suggest taking a cab or using a ride sharing (i.e. Uber, Lyft, Via, etc.) to get to and from the event.
  • I want to volunteer – who should I talk to?

    Did you say VOLUNTEER?!? Auction Chairs, Barbara Ehimika and Erica Johnson have a job for YOU!! They can use all the help they can get to ensure this year's event is a success.
  • What type of auction items do you need me to contribute?

  • How can I sponsor the auction?

    We have great sponsorship packages available. Sponsorships include advertising options plus more. Please contact Lisa Alfonso-Frank to discuss sponsorship and advertisement opportunities. You can find and complete our online sponsorship form.
  • Do I have to be at the event to bid?

    There are plenty of ways to participate in the auction if you can’t make it to the April 27 event. You can:
    • Buy a raffle ticket–stay tuned for more information!
    • You can volunteer to help with auction set-up, April 22-26.
    • You can contribute to your class’s effort to win one of the many class parties offerings. Class Ambassadors will be reaching out to each class to highlight which parties are available to what grades.
