Athletics

Our Philosophy

At Lowell, we run an inclusive athletics program. Every Leopard who wants to be on a team can be, and they will thrive. Competitive athletes can also succeed because our program is designed to enable them to compete at a high level.

Our curriculum is progressive, focusing on each sport’s fundamentals. We embrace practice and discipline as essential parts of participation. Our athletes hone the basics, and as they head into Middle School, our focus shifts to skills development, sportsmanship, and competitiveness.

Swimming

A distinguishing element of the athletics and physical education curriculum at Lowell is the indoor pool conveniently located on campus. Not only do our students participate in swimming as part of the PE classes, but we also offer group and individual lessons after school.

In addition, Lowell recently reintroduced our Lionfish swim team to students in 2nd to 6th grades (ages may vary based on age, interest, and skill level).
