Since our founding in 1965, we have actively embraced and advanced diversity, inclusion, and equity. Honoring a broad range of human difference within our student body and staff not only reflects the world at large, but provides a vital asset for learning and personal growth throughout the Lowell community.
The values of diversity, inclusion, and equity are intentionally woven into Lowell's curriculum and school life for students. We help students develop cultural competency and provide opportunities to practice the skills needed to become critically minded, active citizens of the world.
These values also play a vital role in the decision making of the administrative team and the Lowell School Board of Trustees. This work includes admissions, curriculum development, hiring and retention of faculty and staff, professional development, fundraising, community engagement, and parent education.
