Our Pre-Primary School Voyagers class had their heads in the clouds but their feet solidly planted on Earth this year! During their STEAM studies, students learned all about space and stars, listened to constellation stories from Indigenous Peoples, and then created their own constellations and stories. When they found out you could name an actual star, they came up with lots of ideas and held a vote! That's when the "Sparkling Loved Star" was born. They invited Head of School Donna in to learn about their work, and then presented her with the official certificate naming their star—which now hangs proudly in the school lobby.

This exciting experience showed some of our youngest learners following their curiosity, challenging themselves to learn more, recognizing the importance of history and belonging, and embracing the importance of celebrating their success together.
