Capital Campaigns/Major Gifts

Capital Campaigns

Capital campaigns raise money for a special purpose and in the past have helped purchase the campus on 16th and Decatur Street and renovate our current campus. Campaigns for the Endowment have strengthened the program by creating funds to support teacher salaries, financial assistance, and other needs as determined by the Board. Major gifts and many, many smaller gifts from the entire Lowell community are critical to the success of these multi-year campaigns with monetary goals in the millions.

Major Gifts

Major gifts are tax-deductible investments in the future of the school. They are often payable over several years and of a size that can have a significant impact on facilities or program.

Lowell Provides the Foundation...

Independent elementary schools provide the foundation for a child's love of learning and later success in higher education, yet they receive very little of the total charitable support for education. High schools and colleges in this country are generously supported by their graduates, foundations, and corporations, but elementary schools must rely on the continuing generosity of families and friends to provide the financial support they need to grow and thrive.

Each family has benefited from the investments made by the families who were at Lowell before them and are asked to be part of this sustaining tradition.
