4th/5th Grade Boys Basketball

Mondays (3:30 - 4:45 PM) and Wednesdays (2:00 - 3:20 PM)

Basketball players will work on ball-handling, shooting, and passing.  The team will learn about offensive and defensive positioning on the floor which they can apply to half-court and full-court situations.  They will learn to play hard and value each possession, but also to have fun and work as a team.  The team will play several games against other schools throughout the season.

4th/5th Grade Girls Basketball

Middle School Boys Basketball

Tuesdays and Fridays (3:30 - 4:45 PM), Wednesdays (3:20-4:45 PM)

After learning the basics in 4th/5th Grade, basketball players will learn to execute the Lowell Basketball system, applying their knowledge of the game to offensive and defensive half-court and full-court situations.  Players will give maximum effort and value each possession, but also to have fun and work as a team.  They will continue to work on dribbling, passing and shooting and well as defensive positioning and ball security.  The team will play 10-12  games against other independent schools, including  a few weekend tournaments.

Middle School Girls Basketball

Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:30 - 4:45 PM)

After learning the basics in 4th/5th Grade, basketball players will learn to execute the Lowell Basketball system, applying their knowledge of the game to offensive and defensive half-court and full-court situations.  Players will give maximum effort and value each possession, but also to have fun and work as a team.  They will continue to work on dribbling, passing and shooting and well as defensive positioning and ball security.  The team will play 10-12  games against other independent schools, including  a weekend tournament.

Kindergarten - 8th Grade Swimming

 Wednesdays (2:00-3:30 PM) and Friday (3:30-4:45 PM)

Swimmers will learn proper swimming form for a variety of strokes including freestyle, butterfly, back and breast.  They will become comfortable being in the water as they gain experience with interval training.  They will have an opportunity to be part of a big team and will compete against several other schools throughout the season.
