Middle School

Welcome

Middle School students are ready to embrace change. They see challenges and want to lead. Our Middle School is designed to provide students choices in their learning, the opportunity to set personal and academic goals, and the space to develop leadership skills.
Teachers tailor the classroom experience so that each student is appropriately challenged in all areas. High expectations are coupled with appropriate support so that students know what to aim for and how to get there. Thinking is emphasized over rote learning, and students are expected to use their knowledge and skills creatively and practically.

When students gain confidence in who they are and can apply what they learn, a strong foundation is in place. Our students graduate from Lowell with an intimate knowledge of core subjects, a toolbox of good study skills and habits, and the wherewithal to tackle new challenges—social, emotional, and academic—head-on.
At Lowell, my son has every fiber of his body and brain nourished on a daily basis. He is encouraged to be brave and express himself in a thoughtful and respectful manner.
