The goal of ASP is to provide a safe, caring and enjoyable atmosphere for children, where they can play, make choices and hone social skills under the guidance of caring adults. Monday through Friday afternoons begin with a nutritious snack followed by outside playtime, weather permitting. Students who have homework are then provided with a quiet, supervised room in which to complete their assignments. After homework completion participants then have the opportunity to engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor games and
activities, which take advantage of mixed age groupings.

ASP may be used on a daily basis, two days per week, or for occasional drop-in usage. Monday through Friday confirmation for drop-in services is not required, although notification is still necessary.
