Testing

Applicants to Pre-Primary through Second Grade are not required to have testing. However, many of our applicants for these grade levels have taken the WPPSI (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale Intelligence Test) or the WISC-IV for other school consideration and have supplied a copy for our review.

Students applying to the 3rd -6th grade are required to take the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fourth Revision (WISC-IV) as a part of the application process. Results should be submitted to the Admissions office by February 2nd, 2009.

Lowell does not administer this test, but we have created a list of local testing organizations. We do not endorse any particular testing site.
