We look forward working with families through the application process. Please keep in mind the timeline found in the Admissions Checklist as you work your way through the process.

Lowell enrolls approximately 65 new students each year. Our major intake is in our Pre-Primary and Kindergarten. First through Sixth grade spaces are available by attrition.

Submit Application

We encourage you to apply online with the application fee payable by credit card. If you are unable to apply online please mail a completed application and non-refundable application fee of $65.00 to the Admissions Office by Friday January 9th, 2009.

After submission of an application, please call or email the admissions office to schedule a visit for your child and a parent interview. Please see the Applicant Visit page for Pre-Primary - Third grade Saturday visit dates. Applicants to Fourth grade and above will be scheduled for a school day.

Submit the Transcript Request to your current school or daycare. Sign the top portion of the Independent School Student Recommendation Form (ISSR) and give the form to your current teacher or provider. All applicants need to submit the ISSR, even those not yet enrolled in a school or childcare program. Current schools or childcare programs should mail completed forms to be received by Lowell Admissions office no later than February 2nd.

For applicants of 3rd-6th grade, please send in the completed Student Response Form before the applicant visit.

For applicants of 3rd-6th grade, the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fourth Revision (WISC-IV) is required. Lowell School does not administer this test. Please see list of providers. Reports must be submitted to the admissions office by February 2nd, 2009.

Admission decisions are mailed in mid-March.
