Building Community

Community building with our young group of learners is on-going. Much of the work comes from teachers modeling the behavior they expect to see from children. Teachers who understand child development gently guide children appropriately and they take advantage of each teachable moment. Children are guided by teachers in what it means to be a member of the Lowell community. Respectful communication is a key factor in children understanding the power of their actions and their words.
