Dance

Students experience the world of dance as an extension of academic life at Lowell.

It is a part of the curriculum for all students. The integration of knowledge from the classroom with the kinesthetic experience of dance deepens learning. In a safe and nurturing setting, students learn to take risks, whether it's writing a story, solving a math problem or spinning on the dance floor.

Informal and formal performances occur throughout the year. Students showcase their work as an extension of curriculum through classroom events during the day as well as in the evening. Morning gathering is also a time to share dance to the student body.
