Ensuring Equity…
Diversity work is an ongoing process; a subject for life-long learning. A school is never done doing this important work. At Lowell, we are constantly trying to ensure that our students are treated equitably as a community member, and that our curriculum is culturally relevant, multi-cultural in nature, and current. Over the years we have used many books, videos and mainstream media with our teachers, other staff and parents to further our understanding.
